ME!
Hello! I'm Conor Canning, I am a New York Based actor and writer who graduated from the Case Western/Cleveland Play House's MFA Acting program in 2020.
I was born and raised in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. I grew up on a large animal rescue and have helped my parents maintain it my entire life.
I have been acting ever since I tagged along to my sister's auditions for the school play. The performing arts immediately became my passion, but I hesitated to commit to a professional career. I took time to explore other interests, namely athletics and politics, but by my senior year at Georgetown University, it was clear my future was on the stage.
I knew I needed more training and began applying to graduate schools. I was lucky enough to be accepted into the CWRU/CPH program, and I spent three years living, working, and performing in Cleveland, Ohio.
I am most excited by work that explores the human heart in conflict with itself.
